The Password field allows to save passwords or any other sensitive information.

Passwords are encrypted on the device itself even before that synchronization takes place, so no data is transmitted as plaintext.

Notice

Passwords are tied to the iCloud account from which they were saved. If you change your iCloud account you will not be able to read your old password.
